New generation dash cam

Dash cams are becoming an ever-more essential piece of equipment in vehicles – not only in company cars but in private cars as well. Registration of road incidents is, in fact, the best method for identification of the offender or documentation of a chance occurrence. Therefore, video recording must be of top quality. The quality of our dash cam rests in: OV optics, NOVATEK system and WDR technology. It is thanks to these assets that the camera can record films with 2160P resolution and take photos with 12 MP resolution. The high class of the device is also due to: a motion detector, G-Sensor and in-built display.

Video with 2160P quality and excellent photos

The camera has OV optics and a NOVATEK chipset, which means that registered materials are of high quality. Films are recorded with 2160P (24 FPS) resolution, which is a much higher resolution that Full HD. Additionally, photos with 12 MP resolution will make perfect material documenting every incident. You can also superimpose your text on films and photos.

Two video cameras recording images in front of and behind the vehicle

Besides the standard front camera, you can also install an extra rear camera which will record images behind the vehicle. It is very useful, for example, when you are parking, manoeuvring, and registering road incidents involving a vehicle driving behind you.

WDR technology, wide field of view

Even a vehicle which overtakes you in a tunnel will be registered with a good quality! That is possible owing to a wide-angle lens which enables registration of images within a field of view of up to 170° and the WDR technology which on an ongoing basis adjusts the illumination of images to ensure the optimal effect.

Wi-Fi module

The in-built Wi-Fi module enables wireless transfer of the registered material, i.e. from the camera to all kinds of devices (laptop, tablet, telephone, etc.). Thanks to this feature you can share your films and photos in no time at all, just after the recording.

In-built GPS module

The place of the incident and the speed of the vehicle will be automatically saved with the recording or photo. The in-built GPS module on an ongoing basis delivers geographical coordinates and monitors the speed of your vehicle.

To display the recording with detailed information about the speed and geo-location, you are advised to use Horson Player which is available in the tab ‘Downloads’.

Automatic start of recording

You don’t need to remember to switch the dash cam on, because it starts automatically when you turn the ignition on and it disconnects automatically during stopovers. It simply cannot be more comfortable...

The device is not equipped with an in-built battery. It has a super capacitor which for several seconds after power outage supplies power to the device, thus, allowing you enough time to safely switch it off and to save the registered materials.

Loop recording

In the case of a dash cam, the current moment is the most important. That is why the oldest recordings will be overwritten with the current ones. Only the data secured against overwriting will be protected. The so-called ‘loop recording’ prevents the situations when, because of overloaded memory, further registration of data is impossible.

Motion detector

The motion detecting mode is the stand-by mode in the camera. When the camera has power supply during a stopover, the motion detector will all the time monitor the space and if it detects a moving object, the camera will turn on and start recording for approx. 1 minute.

G-sensor – automatic recording during collision and motion detector

The recording may start automatically when the in-built motion detector detects an object moving in front of the camera. In the case of a collision, the G-sensor will start the recording and protect it against automatic overwriting.

In-built microphone and speaker

Sounds are an important element of the recording and a complement to the documentation of any incident. The camera is equipped with an in-built microphone and speaker so you can have audio and video documentation available immediately after the recording. Camera functions, alerts and comfortable physical buttons have their own system sounds.

Other useful functionalities

The device has such other useful functionalities as: lane assistant, lights-on reminder, and recommended break reminder. The multifunctionality of the dash cam makes it a truly modern accessory that complements the equipment of every vehicle.
